12 For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; | 13 Why does the wicked renounce God and say in his heart, “You will not call to account”? (i.e., it looks like God has forgotten about the wicked) 15 Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none. (The heart says "God has failed to act. Please do something") |
12 he does not forget the cry of the afflicted. | 11 He says in his heart, “God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.” 12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted. (The heart says God has forgotten) |
Ultimately the both affirm God. | |
7 But the Lord sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice, | 16 The LORD is king forever and ever; |
