1. Our new status: Peace with God
   • We have peace with God... (v1)
   • ...through faith in Christ (v1-2)
2. We now have a great hope in which to rejoice, even in suffering
   • A great hope... (v2b)
   • ...even in suffering (v3-4)
3. Our hope is certain...
   • ...since it is based on God's love (v5-8)
   • ...since it is based on the fact that we have been justified and reconciled (v9-10)
   • ...and so we 'boast' in God who has done all this (v11)
