There are a few options available to you if you want to listen to our talks. There are instructions below for iTunes, RSS feed readers, downloading individual files and listening online using the Flash player.
iTunes
If you use iTunes, you can click here to subscribe to the St Tom's podcast. Just click "View in iTunes" on the left, then click the "Subscribe" button when iTunes opens.
RSS Feed Readers
If you're already familiar with RSS, you can click here for the feed. The URL is http://toms.podbean.com/feed. Some programs you might already use that can read RSS feeds include:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer (web browser)
- Mozilla Firefox (web browser)
- Opera (web browser/email client)
- Mozilla Thunderbird (email client)
- Microsoft Outlook 2007 (email client)
- Google Reader
Downloading sermons as individual mp3 files
You can download the sermons as individual mp3 files, which you can then listen to using many programs (such as Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp etc). If you want to do this, you will need to keep visiting St Toms' Podbean site. Every time a new sermon is added you can download the mp3 file by right-clicking the
icon which appears at the bottom of every entry. Select "Save link as..." or "Save target as..." in the pop-up menu.
Listening online using the Flash player
Each sermon entry has a Flash player which appears at the bottom of the entry, after the sermon outline. Just press the triangular Play button on the player (it looks like this:
) and within a few seconds the sermon should start playing.
